CHECKLIST FOR FASTER SALE

(First impressions are important)

• Straighten up the house.
• Repaint front door area entryway and windows
• Keep driveways and sidewalks shoveled and sanded in the winter
• Keep lawn freshly cut. Weed garden. Trim hedges.
• Pick up debris, toys and lawn equipment.
• Replace burned out light bulbs and faulty switches. Have all switch plate covers intact.
• Replace cracked windows and torn screens.
• Clean carpeting if necessary.
• Clean exterior of furnace.
• Paint walls that are badly soiled or chipped.
• Clean out closets to display their roominess.
• Repair loose doorknobs, sticking doors and windows.
• Repair leaky faucets. Clean stains.
• Keep bathroom fixtures meticulous. Re-grout tub area.
• Keep stove and sink clean.
• Keep children and pets away from prospective buyers.
• Refrain from following agents around the house.
• Keep home fresh smelling. Bake pies-not fish!
• Avoid dixcussing price or other factors with buyers.
• Keep home comfortably warm in cold weather and moderately cool in hot weather.
• Apologies should never be made for any adverse appearance of your home. It only emphasizes defects.
